Happiness is a state of mind that really depends how we see the situations in our lives each day. you can have all the riches in the world but still see it as a lonely place.

Hi Steve,

I recognise your journey in mine :) When I focus on the "right stuff" (for me)... AND let go and trust in the universe, it's pretty amazing how much better life feels and looks.
Thanks for the Jim Rohn video on imagination, on YOUR blog...

cheers

As always, Mr. Rohn manages to make things so clear. It is so true (and I'm realizing this more and more every day) that what we focus on — mentally and emotionally — becomes our reality. It also initiates every action we take, ourselves, in addition to what we experience around us. It is all intertwined. Once we fully understand that, then we will no longer find it necessary to curse the circumstances (which we ourselves have created), nor will we continue to nourish the cause.

Thanks so much Christine! I don't have children (just a big kid myself!), but in my opinion if you can instil this in them at a young age, it will serve them well all through life! I find working on motivation/inspiration for myself is active, i.e. not completely habitual ... yet!!

I liked the philosophy of your site; I've connected with you on Twitter too...

Kind regards,
Tracey

What a great quote! That's what I tell my kids, but they don't believe me (yet!). Breaking bad habits, and making good ones, is a challenge, but well worth it!

It touched my heart.
I ask myself these questions everyday and sometimes I feel depressed and hopeless.
I decided to find out the answer to start the life I want according to the map I draw and untill that day comes, i'll continue asking myself the same questions everyday.

Thank you

An extract from an email I wrote afterwards, telling some friends about the weekend:

“The weekend was brilliant! - the Breakthrough Experience was very very interesting, very profound and enlightening. If you have the chance to attend one sometime it would really be worthwhile thinking about - it just gives you a VERY different view on life & the universe, and the intelligence of the man is quite awesome!

I’ll tell you more when we next chat - but suffice to say, it was a breakthrough for me! The main aim of Saturday afternoon/night is to do an exercise to remove the positive & negative “charges” (strong feelings) you associate with someone you have an issue with. I was going to work on my mom, but at the last moment realised that I’d been given a message last week … so I changed to work on my ex-husband(!).

9 & 1/2 hours later I’d reached a stage where I felt gratitude towards for him for what my life is today - if he hadn’t been in my life when he was I would very likely NOT be here today! What a change in perspective that is for me! I always used to say “thank god I got out of that relationship”, but never “thank you for it”! So… interesting, eh?!”
