I was first introduced to Reiki in late 2005, when a friend recommended trying it to help with the depression I was suffering, and various other issues that were causing me a lot of stress. That’s when I met Karen , who is a Reiki Master & Teacher, and an Applied Energy Flow (AEF) and Emotional Realignment Therapy (ERT) Practitioner among other things.
Using the energy healing of Reiki and later on, ERT and AEF, I started feeling so much better about myself and my life; it has been one of the most positive things I’ve done! Another brilliant experience was being asked if I would like to learn to do Reiki myself – Karen did the Level 1 attunement for 3 of us in January 2007, and I’ve been practising it since – mostly on myself, but also on a few friends. One of my goals for 2008 is to practise a LOT more (I have just acquired a new therapy table, so no excuses now!) and do my Level 2 attunement this year. The difference that Reiki has made to me has made me want to help others in the same way.
Now that I’m starting up my work-at-home internet business, the natural thing for me is to use this and my other changing experiences, to help & motivate those of you who feel stuck in a rut, or just need to hear how someone else in a grotty situation managed to change things. I’ve done it; so can you!
As my blog & websites develop, I’ll be setting up membership programs for those of you interested in receiving newsletters on various topics, hearing interviews that I’m planning to arrange with various experts in the areas that I’m involved in or learning about, and I’m also planning a reading group of some sort, as I have a pretty good library of books on all SORTS of topics, and I’d love to explore them with others & gain new insights.
